OUR PEOPLE

Over 40 years ago, the Davison family grew and harvested their very first crop of Irish Bramley apples. Four decades on, with over 120 acres of orchards and brand new grade AA BRC accredited factory facilities on site, our family firm has grown into one of the UKs leading producers of speciality fruit and bakery fillings.

Throughout the last four decades, we have grown to meet the changing needs of our customers and diversified to stay ahead of food trends.

Alan Davison
Alan Davison
Managing Director

Alan, along with Graham, is the driving force behind the team at Davisons. Having grown up within the business, his knowledge, experience and expertise are second to none within the industry. As well as his extensive first-hand experience, Alan has a degree in Food Technology and Design. Alan takes a keen interest in all aspects of the business, from product development right through to factory production directing all areas of the business as he sees fit.

Director and Director of Operations

Graham, alongside Alan is a key decision maker and driver of the business. As well as Alan, he has grown up in the business and in addition to invaluable experience gained through this, Graham has graduated from Queens University Belfast with a degree in Engineering – and as a result has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to machinery within the factory. He heads up the engineering and maintenance side of the business as well as his role as a director within the company.

Glenn Waddell

Operations Manager

Since 2007, Glenn is responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers.  He organises and oversees the daily running of the business and deals with staff over all departments. Glenn ensures a quality service is provided across all areas of the business.

Kathryn Graham

Head of Technical

A new recruit to the Davison’s Team, Kathryn joined in April 2016. After graduating from Queens University Belfast in 2010 with a BSc Hons Degree in Food, Quality, Safety and Nutrition, Kathryn has a background in prepared vegetables and latterly poultry products before joining our team.

Kathryn is responsible for ensuring that all products produced are to a high standard, meeting food safety, legality and quality requirements.

Head of Innovation & Marketing

Claire has been part of the team now since 2013, when she began as a placement student during her degree. After graduating from Queens University Belfast in 2015 with a BSc Hons Degree in Food, Quality, Safety and Nutrition, she is now is our full time head of innovation and marketing. Working closely with new and existing customers to develop exciting products for their range to suit their specific needs, she stays ahead of the trend with market research to ensure our products are at the forefront of the industry. She also heads up all our marketing activity, including the presence at trade shows, blogging, events and award entries to name a few.
